An Engaging Opportunity

The Education Centre operates between one to two times each week delivering a unique experience for young children, students and adults learning about wildlife welfare and the natural environment. The range of activities and the setting they are delivered in is incredible. Looking forward, the education team want to increase the number of days the centre is open for visits and to engage groups with the centre.

You can help us.

If yourself or someone you know of who could support the education centre, and really make a difference for wildlife and education from 2015 we would sincerely like to talk with you. Here are a few examples why we think the education centre is important for wildlife welfare and those who engage with us:

Gainsborough Primary and Nursery School: A very satisfied visit The activities were well pitched and lasted the right amount of time for this age group. The children all had a great time.

St Oswald’s Primary School: We really appreciated the opportunity to listen to friendly staff on the subject of caring for animals and the children returned with more knowledge and a sense of responsibility about caring for wildlife – thank you!

Wistaston Academy: The children enjoyed the visit and the activities.

"It's all about encouraging people to participate and learn about the natural world through hands on discovery."
