A Tribute to PollyAnna
It is with shock and deep sadness that our friend and our patron, PollyAnna Pickering, recently passed away following a short illness.
Truly humbled to be present, very recently, at her funeral and memorial we pay tribute to a truly marvellous lady.
PollyAnna achieved huge accolade as a professional wildlife artist, a wonderful mother and friend to so many people she met across the world. It cannot be under-estimated that PollyAnna's heart was with wildlfie. Through her passion for willdife PollyAnna established a wildlife rescue centre from her own home as well as establishing the PollyAnna Pickering Foundation in 2001. A small but effective non-profit organisation which campaigns internationally to prevent the exploitation of wildlife and raises funds to support animal welfare and conservation projects worldwide.
For us here at WildAid PollyAnna has been our friend as well as a supporter of our chaitable work for over 20 years.
